Who is Foundever?
Foundever describes itself as "one of the largest customer experience (CX) companies in the world", that is, one of the largest customer experience companies globally. It handles, for large brands, their interactions with customers and part of their administrative tasks.
Where does Foundever come from?
According to the Wikipedia encyclopaedia, the group's history goes back to 1985, with the acquisition of the company HQ800 in Omaha (United States), renamed SITEL. In 2015, the French group Acticall acquired Sitel. In September 2021, Sitel Group completed the acquisition of the American company Sykes Enterprises for about $2.2 billion, according to the trade press. In March 2023, Sitel Group became Foundever.
Legal entities and headquarters
The parent entity, Foundever Group, is a public limited company registered in Luxembourg, according to the aggregator North Data. In France, the business operates through Foundever France (formerly Sitel France), a SAS registered under the French company registration number (SIREN) 389 652 553. Created in 2007 and based in Paris, it falls in the 5,000 to 9,999 employee bracket.
According to the accounts relayed by Societe.com, Foundever France posted revenue of €228.56m in 2024, compared with €258.73m in 2023, with a net result of -€7.18m (compared with +€3.48m). The group's revenue is not published in any recent official source.
The location of the headquarters varies by source. Foundever's website states: "Our global headquarters is located in Luxembourg". The company's LinkedIn page, however, shows Miami (Florida), and the press release of 13 October 2026 is dated from Miami.
Recent news: finances and leadership
According to the trade outlet En-Contact, citing S&P Global, Foundever's credit rating was reportedly downgraded from B- to CCC in mid-December 2025. In August 2026, the group completed a recapitalisation, described by Pulse 2.0 and in a company press release: debt reduced by nearly $900 million, $225 million of equity provided by the existing majority shareholders, and maturities pushed back to 2030 and 2031.
Leadership has also changed. The group's founder stepped down on 31 July 2026 and an interim chief executive was appointed in August. A new chief executive officer (CEO), a former IDEMIA executive, was announced on 13 October 2026 (press release relayed by CMSWire); the interim chief executive becomes chairman of the board.
What services does Foundever offer?
The Foundever website presents six main services: customer service ("customer care"), technical support, sales and retention, back-office, debt collection and content moderation ("trust & safety"). They cover voice, email, chat, social media and automated journeys with handover to a human agent.
Delivery models
Teams can work from home, in a contact centre or in a hybrid mode. The Rightshoring page describes the choice of delivery country: onshore (the client's country), nearshore (a nearby country), offshore (a distant country) or a team spread across several sites. The company states more than 60 languages and more than 25 multilingual centres there.
Technologies and sectors
The website highlights conversational and generative AI, automation and customer experience data analytics. Foundever names its own tools, such as EverGPT Turbo and EverAssist. It has dedicated pages for 13 sectors, including banking, insurance, healthcare, the public sector, telecoms and e-commerce.
The model is that of a high-volume contact centre: scaling up, campaigns, seasonal peaks. The website cites, for example, more than 4,000 agents mobilised for a brand "in less than six weeks". It does not describe the provision of dedicated staff integrated into the client's team, nor a catalogue of profiles.
How much does Foundever cost?
Foundever does not publish its prices. The website shows no price list, no hourly or monthly rate, and no price per contact handled: pricing is on quote. We found no reliable public source giving a price specific to Foundever.
The minimum commitment period, the trial period, the set-up fees and the included services are not published either. To compare, you need to request a detailed quote: all-inclusive monthly cost, billing unit (seat, hour or contact), indexation rules and extras.
Where do Foundever's teams work?
The Locations page lists the delivery countries by region, without naming cities. The website states sometimes "45 delivery countries", sometimes "+45 countries in every region" (more than 45 countries), depending on the page.
Region | Examples of countries listed |
|---|---|
Asia-Pacific | Philippines, India, Malaysia |
Europe | France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Poland |
Middle East and Africa | Morocco, Egypt, Madagascar, South Africa |
Americas | United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia |
Foundever in Madagascar
Madagascar appears in the list of delivery countries and on Foundever's Careers page. None of the public sources consulted specifies the city, the headcount or the clients served from the country. An En-Contact article of 1 October 2025 on Malagasy call centres does not name Foundever among the local operators, which does not prove its absence.
Other recent locations
In Morocco, a job offer from August 2026 recruits bilingual French-English customer advisers in Casablanca, with late and night-time hours. The company's press releases also announce 5,000 jobs in Egypt (2025), 3,800 jobs in Cape Town (South Africa) by 2026 and an AI lab in Barcelona (2025).
What do the reviews say about Foundever?
On Trustpilot, Foundever scores 1.5/5 from 37 reviews, 20 of which were published in the last twelve months. One-star reviews account for 89% of the total. Trustpilot states that the company has not replied to negative reviews.
These reviews come mostly from former employees and candidates, not from business clients. The recurring themes concern pay (delays, discrepancies in the final salary), management, turnover, redundancies linked to transfers of activity, and recruitment. The sample is small and does not allow a judgement on the quality of service delivered to clients.
The employee review pages on Glassdoor and Indeed could not be consulted directly: we therefore do not use their ratings. We found no verifiable review from a business client.
What are Foundever's strengths?
The following points are statements made by Foundever.
International reach: 45 countries, more than 60 languages and teams across five major regions, which covers several time zones (slogan "Always on. Always available").
Scalability: more than 4,000 agents mobilised for a brand in less than six weeks.
Security: the contact centre security page mentions ISO 27001:2022, PCI-DSS (payment card data), HITRUST/HIPAA (health data), SOC 1 and 2 and TISAX. It specifies that ISO 27001 certification covers "a number of locations", without a list of sites.
Recognition: "Leader" position in the Everest Group CXM PEAK Matrix 2025 and 2026 assessments, presence in the IAOP Global Outsourcing 100 ranking and Great Place To Work certifications, awarded by the bodies cited.
References: clients such as L'Oréal China and Iberia, cited in connection with awards received.
Points to check before choosing Foundever
Real cost: what all-inclusive monthly cost, per seat, per hour or per contact? What set-up fees and what indexation?
Commitment: what minimum term, what notice period, what exit and reversibility conditions (taking the activity back in-house or to another provider)?
Delivery location: from which sites and in which language will the project be served? If Madagascar is being considered, in which city and with what headcount?
Certifications: do the ISO 27001, PCI-DSS or SOC certificates cover the proposed site, and until what date?
Governance: after the recapitalisation and the change of leadership in 2026, who will run the account? Which entity will sign the contract, and can its latest accounts be shared?
Team stability: the stated workforce has varied (170,000 in 2023, 130,000 in October 2026). What is the turnover of the team assigned to the project?
Dedication: will the agents be dedicated to your account or shared? Which tools will be imposed?
Quality: can you contact comparable clients? Which indicators and penalties will appear in the contract?
On security, in March 2022, the outlet The Record reported an incident at Okta involving Sitel as a support subcontractor; Sitel reportedly attributed it to a legacy network inherited from Sykes. It is legitimate to ask how agents' access is controlled today.
Which companies is Foundever suited to?
Foundever targets large international brands and claims more than 800 clients across 13 sectors. Its offer matches the needs of high contact volumes, multilingual service, extended hours or delivery spread across several countries. Regulated sectors may be interested in the certifications stated, subject to checking their scope.
The website shows no offer dedicated to very small businesses (VSEs) or SMEs. A company looking for one or two dedicated staff, integrated into its team and managed by it, will not find that model described on Foundever's website.
What alternatives are there to Foundever?
The right choice depends on the model sought: buying a volume of contacts handled by a contact centre, or integrating dedicated staff into your team. Our articles on assessing call centre providers and on customer service outsourcing companies detail the criteria. Here are three groups of comparable size, then MaaSil.
Concentrix
Concentrix is another major global customer relationship group. Its "Locations" page lists, as we read it, 73 countries or territories, including Madagascar, with sites in Antananarivo and Toamasina (Tamatave).
Konecta
Konecta presents itself with more than 109,000 people, 28 countries and more than 40 languages. The En-Contact article of 1 October 2025 cites it among the call centre operators present in Madagascar.
Teleperformance (TP)
Teleperformance, which uses the TP brand, states a presence in around 100 countries and more than 400 languages and dialects. The same En-Contact article cites TP among the operators present in Madagascar.
MaaSil Inc
MaaSil, the publisher of this article, does not offer the same service as Foundever. According to MaaSil, its model is Employer of Record (EoR) employment (EoR-type provision) of consultants based in Madagascar, 100% integrated into the client's team and managed by the client day to day. MaaSil handles recruitment, the contract, payroll and HR follow-up.
MaaSil publishes its pricing: from €55 to €100 excl. VAT per day for general profiles, or about €1,150 excl. VAT per month, and from €120 to €250 excl. VAT per day for senior developers, or about €2,600 excl. VAT per month. MaaSil states more than 100 consultants and more than 40 clients.
MaaSil suits French-speaking SMEs, startups and mid-sized companies that want to integrate dedicated staff: accounting, HR, customer service, administrative support, marketing or software development. MaaSil is less suited to high-volume call centres open 24/7 in several languages, very short projects and exclusively onshore needs. For these needs, Foundever or the other groups cited may be a better fit.
