Who is IngeData?

On its about page, IngeData states that it started in 2005 "as a BPO platform in Madagascar" (BPO: business process outsourcing). A Newsmada article dated 6 July 2026 repeats this origin. The company claims "200+ enterprise projects delivered".

The company shown on the website is Ingedata Pte. Ltd., incorporated under Singapore law, with UEN (Unique Entity Number, Singapore's business registration number) 201943507G. A Singapore registry aggregator reports a registration on 26 December 2019 and a "Live Company" status. The website therefore presents activity since 2005, whereas the Singapore entity dates from 2019; none of the sources consulted describes the legal link between the two.

As for the address, the website gives one address in Singapore on its contact page, another in the footer, and the aggregator gives a third. All agree on a head office in Singapore. The leadership shown on the website includes a chief executive officer, a chief operating officer and a chief technology officer. No revenue figure is published.

Since 12 August 2026, IngeData has been an active participant in the United Nations Global Compact, linked to Madagascar. In July 2026, Orange Madagascar and IngeData announced a certified AI training programme for young Malagasy talent, without specifying its length or cost.

What services does IngeData offer?

The IngeData home page summarises the offer as: "Expert Data Workflows for High-Stakes Industries". The company annotates, enriches and structures data for computer vision, that is, the automatic analysis of images and videos: segmentation, polygons, point clouds, 3D cuboids, bounding boxes or landmark placement.

Target sectors and references

IngeData targets healthcare (diagnosis, clinical trials, medical imaging), Earth observation (environment, defence, agriculture), industry and robotics, which it calls "Physical AI". According to the website, annotators are trained in the client's field: the home page mentions radiologists, civil engineers and geospatial experts.

IngeData's case studies cite clients such as Safran, SUEZ, Enlitic, Median Technologies and Basel University Hospital. They report, for example, 99.81% accuracy on 11.1 million observables for Safran. These figures are stated by IngeData or by its clients and have not been verified by a third party.

The Pulse platform

Projects are tracked on Pulse, an in-house platform described on the Platform & API page: customisable workflows, real-time production tracking, multi-level quality control and a REST API (application programming interface). According to the company, Pulse is hosted on Google Cloud Platform and is compatible with CVAT, Labelbox and SuperAnnotate.

Each project mobilises a dedicated team: testimonials cite 20 annotators for XXII Group and 93 for Safran. The pages consulted describe no call centre, no Employer of Record (EoR) service and no support functions.

How much does IngeData cost?

IngeData does not publish any pricing. Neither the billing unit (image, annotated object, hour or fixed fee), nor the minimum commitment, nor any trial period is stated. The website's terms and conditions only cover marketing emails and personal data: they specify neither payment, nor termination, nor governing law.

To obtain a quote, you need to fill in the IngeData contact form with the reason "Sales Inquiry". The case studies cite turnaround times but no prices: two weeks for a 100-image project with CETIM, for example.

Where do IngeData's teams work?

The website mentions "5 countries across Europe and Asia", without naming them. The IngeData LinkedIn page mentions Europe, Madagascar, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. According to the website, an office opened in Brussels in 2020 and a healthcare expertise centre exists in the Philippines. The breakdown of teams by country and the hours covered are not published.

As for headcount, the website states "500+ industry specialists and project managers", whereas LinkedIn shows a range of 501 to 1,000 employees and 264 profiles linked to the page. No figure is published for Madagascar.

What do reviews say about IngeData?

No public customer review was found: no IngeData page on Trustpilot, Google reviews not accessible, no employee reviews available on Glassdoor or Indeed. No average score can therefore be reported. The only feedback available is the testimonials published by the company; asking for reference clients in your sector remains the safest approach.

What are IngeData's strengths?

  • Sector specialisation: healthcare, Earth observation, industry and robotics, with annotators presented as trained in these fields.

  • Displayed certifications: ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (information security) and ISO 9001:2015 (quality), according to the website; certificates and scope not published.

  • Non-financial commitments: EcoVadis rating of November 2025 (level not specified) and participation in the Global Compact confirmed by the UN.

  • Proprietary platform: Pulse, with an API and compatibility with common annotation tools.

  • Named references: industrial groups and medical imaging players, with quantified case studies.

Points to check before choosing IngeData

  1. Which entity signs the contract, and which law applies?

  2. In which country and at which site will your project be produced? Do the ISO certifications cover that site?

  3. What is the unit price (image, object, study or hour) and what does it include: quality control, access to Pulse, project management?

  4. What level of accuracy is written into the contract, and with what measurement method?

  5. What are the minimum commitment, the pilot phase and the termination conditions?

  6. Where is the data hosted, who has access to it, and what GDPR (European regulation on personal data) safeguards apply to health data?

  7. Which working languages and time zones are covered?

Which companies is IngeData suited to?

IngeData is aimed at organisations with a volume of data to annotate in order to train an AI model: medtech, Earth observation, defence, industry or robotics. Its offer targets projects where domain expertise and data security matter as much as volume. The website does not show a target of very small businesses or SMEs, and support functions do not appear on it. The website is in English: a company that wants to work in French should check the service languages.

What are the alternatives to IngeData?

The choice depends on the need: having data annotated for AI, or strengthening your teams with dedicated staff. Our guide on how to select an outsourced service provider offers a grid of criteria.

isahit

isahit presents itself as a "managed workforce" for AI and data projects: annotation of images, videos, text and audio, and back-office tasks. isahit claims an "impact sourcing" approach (outsourcing with a social impact), profiles in several countries including Madagascar, and states that it is B Corp certified. It does not publish pricing.

MaaSil Inc

MaaSil, the publisher of this article, does not offer data annotation. According to MaaSil, its model is Employer of Record (EoR) staffing of consultants based in Madagascar, 100% integrated into the client's teams. MaaSil handles recruitment, payroll and HR follow-up; the client manages the assignments day to day.

Its pricing page shows €55 to €100 excl. VAT per day for general profiles (accounting, customer service, HR, administrative assistance), or about €1,150 excl. VAT per month, and €120 to €250 excl. VAT per day for senior developers. MaaSil reports more than 100 consultants and more than 40 clients on its Why us page. MaaSil suits French-speaking SMEs, startups and mid-sized companies that want to bring in dedicated staff for support, back-office or IT. It is less suitable for very short one-off projects, such as an annotation campaign, for multilingual call centres open 24/7 and for purely onshore needs (carried out in the client's own country).
