Who is Teleperformance?
From Teleperformance to TP
On 27 February 2025, the group officially adopted the "TP" brand, as explained in an article published on tp.com. That page does not say whether the legal name is changing. The former domain teleperformance.com now redirects to tp.com. The French website also displays the line "Majorel devient TP" (Majorel becomes TP), referring to a customer relations group acquired by Teleperformance.
A listed European company based in Paris
The legal entity is still called TELEPERFORMANCE SE. It is registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under the number SIREN 301 292 702 (French company registration number), visible on the Annuaire des entreprises. According to its Societe.com profile, its head office is at 21-25 rue Balzac in Paris and its share capital is €149,685,912.50.
The founding date varies by source: Societe.com gives 3 October 1989 for the current entity, while an INSEE extract shows activity since 1974. The group's website highlights "nearly five decades" of experience.
Key figures and governance
According to ABC Bourse, the group posted 2025 revenue of €10,209m (+1.3% like-for-like, −0.7% as reported). Recurring EBITA, a measure of operating profitability, reached €1,485m, a margin of 14.6%, and net income attributable to the group was €497m.
Management changed in 2026: the executives who held the general management roles left them on 15 March 2026. A new chief executive, a former Senior Partner at McKinsey, has been in post since 16 March 2026.
What services does Teleperformance offer?
An end-to-end customer experience offer
On its US website, TP describes itself as "a global partner that operates where people, processes, and AI meet". The French website speaks of a "global partner orchestrating people, processes and AI to transform your operations" ("partenaire mondial orchestrant l'humain, les processus et l'IA pour transformer vos opérations").
The list of services varies depending on the version of the site. The US page highlights customer service, "revenue-as-a-service" (sales and revenue generation), content moderation and safety ("trust and safety"), debt collection and back-office support. The French page instead mentions intelligent document processing, sales acceleration and data.
TP.ai artificial intelligence solutions
Teleperformance groups its AI tools under the name TP.ai, divided into Connect, Assist, Growth, Collect and Dataservices. At its investor day on 18 June 2025 in New York, the group presented its TP.ai FAB orchestration platform and its "Future Forward" strategy. According to the press release relayed by Silicon.co.uk, it also announced an AI partnership programme worth up to €100m in 2025 (with Sanas, Parloa or Ema), the acquisition of the expert platform Agents Only and an organic growth target of 4 to 6% in 2028.
Other services, sectors and languages
The US site also presents consulting, technology services and specialised services: healthcare support, interpretation and translation, recruitment outsourcing, visa services. Teleperformance says it serves 12 sectors, including banking, healthcare, energy, the public sector, e-commerce and technology. It claims more than 400 languages and dialects. Its delivery models combine multilingual centres, "smartshoring" (production spread across several countries) and home working.
The group says it works with 53% of the companies in the Forbes Top 100 ranking, without naming any clients. The offer is organised around services and programmes: the site does not publish a catalogue of individual profiles and does not describe a dedicated-employee model integrated into the client's team.
How much does Teleperformance cost?
Teleperformance does not publish its pricing. No price list appears on tp.com, including on the page dedicated to Madagascar: prices are set on quotation.
Minimum commitment, trial period, set-up fees and included services are not published either. A comparison article published on 19 May 2026 by 1840 & Co states that TP "does not publicly disclose minimum contract thresholds" and negotiates at the level of each programme. Hourly ranges published by blogs are not attributed to TP and are not repeated here.
Where do Teleperformance's teams work?
A network of around 100 countries
The US site shows "~100 countries with a TP presence" and "~170 countries served". The "Where we operate" menu on the careers site lists around sixty countries and markets, including India, the Philippines, Poland, South Africa and Madagascar. The site therefore gives either about a hundred countries or about sixty, depending on the page consulted.
The French site states around 490,000 employees; the LinkedIn page links 232,025 profiles to the group, which only counts registered members. Part of the workforce works from home.
Madagascar
Teleperformance has a Madagascar page in French, but it gives no site address, no headcount and no country-specific service. In October 2025, the trade outlet En-Contact cited TP among the large outsourcing players established in Madagascar after the local pioneers. According to that outlet, these large players together support "more than 25,000 agents and their families"; no figure specific to TP is published.
Teleperformance Madagascar announced in January 2021 that it had obtained the "Best Place to Work" employer certification for 2020, a data point that is more than five years old. The service hours covered from Madagascar are not published.
France and certifications
In November 2024, according to the trade site Blog-RH, the French subsidiary announced a voluntary redundancy plan affecting 598 positions out of 1,862 employees, with a regrouping into four hubs (Bordeaux, Le Mans, Orléans and Villeneuve-d'Ascq) and no announced site closure.
No group page dedicated to certifications could be consulted. The certifications of each production site, notably in Madagascar, must therefore be requested from the group.
What do reviews say about Teleperformance?
On Trustpilot, the teleperformance.com profile shows a rating of 1.3/5 from 433 reviews, 95 of them published in the last 12 months. 81% of reviews give 1 star and 12% give 5. Trustpilot notes that the company has no recent history of inviting reviews and has not replied to negative reviews. The new tp.com profile is unclaimed and has no reviews.
Most of these reviews seem to come from candidates and employees rather than business clients; some concern other companies. Trustpilot does not verify reviews: they are individual testimonies. Recurring negative themes concern management, difficulty reaching HR, the length of training, staff turnover and delays in paying the balance. On the positive side, some authors praise supervisors, the initial training or the value of the experience for a CV.
No verifiable client review was found on G2, Capterra or Google. The Glassdoor and Indeed pages were not accessible: their ratings are not reproduced.
What are Teleperformance's strengths?
Based on information published by the group:
Global scale: around 490,000 employees, nearly 100 countries and more than 400 languages and dialects.
An end-to-end offer: customer relations, back-office, debt collection, moderation, consulting and technology.
A stated investment in AI: the TP.ai range, the TP.ai FAB platform and partnerships announced in 2025.
Public accounts: more than €10 billion in revenue in 2025, published as a listed company.
Long client relationships: according to TP, its Forbes Top 100 clients have worked with it for 14 years on average.
A presence in Madagascar confirmed by the trade press.
Points to check before choosing Teleperformance
These questions concern information that is not published:
What is the all-inclusive monthly cost per seat or per billed hour, and what does it include (supervision, tools, premises, training)?
What are the minimum volume, the commitment term and the exit conditions of the contract?
In which country and city will the team be located? The site mentions Madagascar, without describing a site or headcount there.
Will the team be dedicated to your account or shared with other clients?
Which certifications (for example ISO 27001 for information security) cover the production site? Ask for the certificates, with their scope and validity date.
What is the staff turnover rate at this site and the average seniority of the advisers assigned?
What role will AI (TP.ai) play: which tasks will be automated, what effect on the number of people billed, and who will own the data?
Will the contract be signed with the parent company or with a local subsidiary (legal name, governing law, liability)?
Which companies is Teleperformance suited to?
Teleperformance mainly targets large accounts, across 12 sectors, including more than half of the Forbes Top 100 companies. Its offer mostly corresponds to large-scale customer relations programmes, across several countries and languages, with a share of AI automation, entrusted to a single provider.
The site does not claim a very small business or SME target and publishes neither pricing nor a minimum threshold. A small company looking for one or two dedicated employees should raise the volume questions from the outset.
What alternatives to Teleperformance are there?
The right choice depends on the need: entrusting a complete programme to a large provider, or integrating dedicated employees into your own teams. To structure the comparison, see our guide on evaluating call centre providers.
Foundever
Foundever is another major customer experience player. According to an article on its blog published in August 2025, its Antananarivo site, in the capital of Madagascar, covers 4,500 m², can accommodate more than 900 agents and provides service in French and English.
Intelcia
Intelcia set up in Madagascar in 2018 by taking over the Outremer Télécom sites. According to the business press at the time, it then announced more than 1,500 positions in the country.
Concentrix
Concentrix is cited by En-Contact, alongside TP, among the large outsourcing and moderation groups present in Madagascar. No figure specific to Concentrix in the country was found.
MaaSil Inc
MaaSil Inc, the publisher of this article, offers a different model: Employer of Record (EoR) (portage salarial in French, a type of secondment arrangement). According to MaaSil, its Madagascar-based consultants work 100% within the client's team, with its tools. MaaSil handles recruitment, payroll and HR follow-up; the client directs the assignments. MaaSil claims more than 100 consultants and more than 40 clients; its recruitment method is described on its site.
MaaSil publishes its pricing: €55 to €100 excl. VAT per day, or about €1,150 excl. VAT per month, for general profiles (accounting, after-sales service, HR, assistants), and €120 to €250 excl. VAT per day for senior IT developers. This model targets French-speaking SMEs, startups and mid-sized companies (ETI). It is less suitable for high-volume call centres open 24/7 in several languages, very short projects and needs carried out exclusively in France.
Comparison table
Criterion | Teleperformance (TP) | MaaSil (according to MaaSil) |
|---|---|---|
Model | Customer relations and AI programmes | Dedicated consultants integrated into the client |
